I need a 3 and 5 wood. Should I match my driver?
My driver is a Cleveland Hi-Bore 10.5* w/ regular fuji shaft.I really like the low profile design of the Taylor made V-steel 3 and 5 woods. My Irons are the Taylor Made os2 W/stiff steel. Are the V steels very forgiving? I tipically hit a high fade. Thanks in advance.
I am currently playing a hi bore XL driver, three wood, and two hybrids the 3 and 4...was playing ping G5 woods and driver and liked the Cleveland's better... you should demo them (as you would any club) before investing in them... you might find that you automatically dont need a 3 and 5, but that other clubs will suit you better...they now make a XL 2 wood with a lot of loft that is pretty good, and you might want to fill the distance voids with clubs that better suit your swing and feel more than just buying the 3 and 5 because that's what you think you need...also...dont be foreign to the idea of hitting different brand clubs (mixing and matching) as some will feel better in your hands at the different weights, lengths, and lofts to swing at different distances on the course... good luck!
