Difference between Stainless Steel G316 and G316L ?
Wat is the basic difference between a stainless stell G316 and G316L... can we use G316 inplace of G316L and vice versa...?
316L the L stands for low carbon which makes it better for welding.
The higher carbon in the steel makes your welds corrode faster. It depends what you are using it for, but most likely you can use them interchangeably.
