What do you do if toilet water splashes on you?
OK, so I live in a dorm, and I HATE when this happens. Sometimes when I pee, the pee hits the toilet bowl and bounces back onto my inner thighs, or toilet water splashes up a little. Never a lot, just like a drop. Sometimes I just take a shower afterwards, but I feel like that's a little excessive and wastes time. I also have OCD so apparently that's reinforcing my mental problem. But could i get an STD from this? Doctors say no, but i'm worried. what should i do?
I'm female and it's true that you can't catch an STD from this, but it is definitely unpleasant when it happens. What you should do is carry a box of antiseptic wipes with you in your purse, and when it happens you can take care of it right away with an antiseptic wipe - that way you will know that you have nothing to worry about.
