I might trade in my PSP for an iPod nano, and DS Lite, aproxx. how much money would I get if I traded all these things to Gamestop? (I have $280 on hand)

Look up what is being sold on Ebay to see what it is all really worth would be my suggestion. If you take it to a swap shop my guess you will get 50% less for it. That is the way things go in America, it's supply and demand.
