Whats wrong with my car? Whenever i turn the stearing wheel hard right it grinds like metal on metal?
Someone said possibly power steering fluid leak. Its not when i am braking or anything else, it's just when i turn the wheel right to go round a corner, it grinds then continues to grind when i straighten up but only for a few seconds before returning to norma. Steering is fine other than that, not heavy or light, just normal.
Its a r reg corsa, if that helps.

There are a couple of things that may cause this, first the brake pads may not be releasing completely when you take your foot of the brake. Secondly its possible that the front ball joints have given up failed. Last put not least its possible that the play on the wheel bearings is to much, however I would expect that if that was the case then the bearings would be noisy all the time.
