Rubber bands only on one side of my mouth creating a problem on the other?
I have a triangle formation with rubber bands on the LEFT side on my mouth only. My ortho said to use two rubber bands on one hook. Before this, my RIGHT side was "fine", but now that the right side is aligned the left side does not match up.
I am getting my braces off next visit and I was wondering if the retainer will fix the problem on my right side or if I will have to keep my braces on longer.

Your orthodontists usually know what they are doing, and more than likely know exactly what's happening to all sides of your mouth! Just to be safe, bring it up next appointment. The worst thing that could happen is they make you keep them on a little longer, but it would be better to have straight teeth later than crooked teeth sooner, right?
It doesn't sound like they will make you keep them on though.
