How can I sell a limited quantity of my home-made product in one week?
I only have money enough to make about 20 of these crafts (jar candles) at a time. I'd like to be able to sell all 20 the first week. How could I do this without having advertising overkill?
I'd like to eventually sell 40 per week....60..80....
How could I sell all 20 of these in one week without reaching so many people that I have to keep telling people that I ran out?
Find a way to "customize" each one to the buyer - in that way you don't necessarily need to send them out right away. People will understand if a custom job takes a couple of days or even a week. The best place to sell something like that would be a craft show - most cities have them all the time. Also renting a space at a flea market might be good. You could also customize them for a Church or Civic Organization as a fundraiser item - with part of the profit going to the group. You also might find a good market with wedding planners - making groups of the candles for table decorations in the colors of the wedding.
