As a beginner would it be a bad idea to spend $1,000 to $1,500 on a set of golf clubs?
I asked a friend this and all he would say is that he didn't think it was smart unless I was totally dedicated to learning and playing the game, and I am. I understand that learning the game can be very frustrating and many people start off buying expensive clubs only to loose interest in it and never use the clubs again or sell them. Thanks for the help guys!
I don't think that you should start out buying top of the line clubs. My first set that I ever had was a set of top flite xl's but now I have moved on, I added more clubs to my set. If you have a pretty penny to spend than you could buy those but if your a beginner then get regular flex clubs and don't kill the ball I hope that you have a great time on the course!
