Is my 1997 Geo Prizm covered in the "Cash for Clunkers" Bill?
I am not sure if it can be used to buy a new car... like a civic... even a hybrid if neccesary
No it isn't. It's mileage rating is too high. I call this a Korea/Japan stimulus package. People who drive clunkers seldom buy a new car and when they do they buy Kias, Hyundai's and the smaller Toyota's and Honda's because of the perceived better quality and the longer warranty on the Korean cars. Its too bad our congressmen didn't think of this.
