how to play guitar hero III on hard mode?
hi, does anyone know which fingers i should hold on the frets when i am playing guitar hero III on hard mode.. i feel like i am not holding it right... or is it simply i have to get used to it?
well first of all, you need to decide which finger you are stronger with, your index or your pinky. next, if you are stronger with your pinky, start on the lower frets, stronger with your index finger, start on the higher frets. the main thing is sliding your stronger finger to the fret next to it. once you do that, just get comfortable with the colors and youll be on your way.
try to practice on the song impulse in slow or full speed if you begin to feel a lot more comfortable. i started in guitar hero 2 on sweet ol child o mine, and once i got it it felt very comfortable. sliding becomes really useful because you can play the harder solos much more easily and with greater presicion.
next you have to get used to ho pos and pull offs. thats easy once you can slide your fingers. try to use your sliding finger to play ho pos and pull offs.
finally, just get down the faster chords. you can make everything a lot easier once you can slide your fingers.
