what goes farther blades or cavity back irons?
Well, even though everyone else is saying blades or neither, I am going to have to disagree and say cavity backs. I am a scratch golfer, and have played with both extremes...X14 callaways (cavity backs) and MP32 mizunos (one of the smaller blades). Both are excellent clubs, but I found that the blades went shorter. The reason is simply they have less weight behind them, a cavity back is designed with a wider sole traditionally. This wider sole provides both forgiveness and a greater MOI moment of inertia behind the ball than the blades with a constant swing speed. I have alot of experience playing golf and I work in a pro shop. Hope this helps ya!
