Troy Bilt Lawn Mower.?
My Troy Bilt lawn mower (2 years old) runs fine for about two minutes, then it shuts off like its flooding. I have checked the air filter, fuel filter, and tried different spark plugs. Does anyone have any recommondations?
Hi Nick,
Your machine is not flooding. It's literally running out of gas. Your carb's float valve is sticking and not allowing the bowl to re-fill at it's operating rate.
To confirm this, just leave it for 10 or 15 minutes and see if she runs. If she does it again you've virtually confirmed a sticking float valve in the carb.
