which iron set is better for me?
I shoot nothing higher than a 88 and more scores are getting lower i don't need much forgiveness i want a little more workability and i have the callaway big bertha 06 irons. i was either gonna get the taylormade r9s, the taylormade burners i want the r9's more though.
Have you tried them both? That usually will tip the scale one way or another. The burners are great clubs. I've used them in the past and loved them. They are very forgiving clubs. Nice and solid and straight each time. But since you mentioned you want more workability then you should go with the R9's great clubs for control with ample forgiveness. If you want, you can try the TP, they have a smaller head and less off-set, but they are best for a single-digit handicapper. But you should hit them nonetheless. I would surmise that in the end you'll go with the R9's standard, not the TP or Burners. Just make sure you have them fitted, when you're about to spend that type of money you better make sure it's set perfectly to you. Good Luck.
