What's a good beginner drum set for teenagers?
I want to learn how to play a drum set, but I don't know what kind of set I should buy.
I'd suggest a good starter ludwig 5-piece set. You can buy them in any sam ash, or other music stores. You can choose the cymbal packages you want, and you can customize the set's color.
The drum set comes with a snare, ( white headed drum on the left) two toms ( drums on the big sideways drum) a bass drum ( big sideways drum) and a floor tom ( big drum on left)
I had it when I began, and I was very satisfied. I suggest for the cymbals, get a high hat and a ride, and to get a crash later, when you need it and are more advanced.
these sets are rather cheap, and go for about 250 a set. Great for beginers.
Also, heres a few tips: dont wack the drums
dont have your sticks hit the rims of the drum
if you want to do a cymbal crash, it the sides with the middle of your sticks
