Taylor Made Burner vs. Ping g10 specifically and what other clubs are in the same ball park?
Which club will be the best all around. I kno both are far but does one dominate the other in any way? How does each club feel throughout the swing and at impact. Also, is it realistic to work the ball with either of these clubs as well as say an r7 or a Titleist? Any advice or other club suggestions would be appreciated.
I am 18, been playing 2 1/2 yrs and am roughly a 7-9 handicap. Good driver and currently have an r7 that seems to have a floppy shaft and unresponsive/muted head. Time to upgrade.
P.S.!!!! What are some good shaft models for each of these clubs or drivers in general? I have only ever played stock shafts... What about the aldila voodoo? is that a good driver shaft or is it geared toward one style over another? plz need help here too.

well, the ping g10 in my opinion is the best around.. i used to have an r7 too, the shaft was to flexy and the tip was real soft, so i launched it super HIGH. my friend had always had a burner... idk, i didn't like it .... the head was too big and the shaft is just like the r7's but worse. i have a g10, and the g10 beats the burner in everything- feel, forgiveness, and distance... and about the shafts... dont even look at that voodoo...it is a badass shaft, but unless you are looking to play in some pro-ams and win some tourneys, this shaft is obsolete.plus its $300. YIKES!!! i am 14 but i do swing pretty fast, like 106 mph, and like you, i thought the stock shafts were trash and i wanted a nice after market shaft... but once i picked out the right loft and shaft - 9.0 with a stiff prolaunch red, i was bombing those little balls... PING knows what they are doing, even tough we might not think so. so yeah if you you like a low spin mid launch shaft, the prolaunch red is for you
