why pay union dues when i quit my job months ago?
i quit my job at disneyland in january because i hated it there. its been 2 months that i quit. i got a letter today from the stupid union ucfw 324, and theyre saying that i have to pay $79.90 and a withdrawal card! first off, i dont know what a withdrawal card is! secondly, why do i still have to pay for the union? i need some real answers please, because i dont even have that much money in my account.
It's simple, you own the dues because you are still a member of the union and the withdrawal is required by every union I have ever known of.
It's not their fault you quit, you still owe the dues.
