I have a swing speed of 95-100mph. Should I switch to a stiff shaft? Am I losing anything with a regular?
I have a regular flexed driver and am looking at getting a new 3 wood. Should I stay regular or get a stiff shaft?
swing speed is not the only thing that adds up to if you need a stiff shaft. it depends on speed, and how long your swing is. if you produce enough torque in the club then the club will bend too much and you will loose yards.
How to figure out if you need a stiff shaft is to video tape yourself swinging with your driver/3 wood which ever you think you need a new one. if your club is bent at around a 15*-20* angle you probably should get a stiff shaft.
